DIRECT GATE WITH SHADING

The problem with transparent components such as side windows or panorama roofs made of polycarbonate is the injection molding. If the injection point is realized externally via a film connection, the component must then be mechanically processed. An alternative to this is our CompressionGating technology.

In the case of components that have a frame made of 2K plastic, there is also the option of shading the injection point with the second component. With this procedure, the injection point is invisible from the visible side and a perfect component is created.

This is implemented with our large PC glazing tools or with many a headlight cover.
