FREE FLOW GATING

FREE FLOW GATING

Any disruption in the hot runner system such as torpedoes, multi-hole tips or valve gates will cause irritation in the melt. Of course, this does not have as great an effect on the melt as a weld line on the component due to a breakthrough. But the effect is similar.

These disturbances, also known as needle shadows, produce reduced strength in direct gating, but also when gating via a film gate this area.

In the case of transparent components, this disturbance shows up in the polarization. Disturbances in the polarization are not permitted, particularly with high-quality display covers, since these can become visible depending on the user's sunglasses.

In order to remedy these problems, we have developed special injection methods. In this way, we can integrate a valve gate connection into tools without their disruptive influences.

In connection with injection compression molding, they are the least stressed Injection molded parts realizable.
