IMC INMOLD CUTTING – INMOLD TRIMMING

CUTTING IN THE TOOL

We can do this in ours Integrate back injection molds.

Using hydraulic cutting slides and a movable cutting edge, we achieve a textile trimming like with scissors. The trimming is possible both on the component edge and with a decor overhang for a subsequent folding.

There is also nothing to prevent a gusset trimming for folded areas on radii.

The greatest added value of this technology compared to pinching, which means squeezing, is the longevity and trim quality. This is how we guarantee a service life of the cutting edges of at least 500,000 cycles.

Regardless of whether it is pinching or IMC – a completely trimmed component comes out of the tool with each cycle. So no handling waste or Trim waste due to component distortion.

No additional energy costs for laser trimming or ultrasonic knives.

With our IMCmore technology, a sealing lip can also be injection molded with a second component directly on the edge of the component
